Brisebois steps down as player development coach

According to TVA Sports Montreal Canadiens player development coach and former defenceman Patrice Brisebois has told the club that he is resigning from his position. The Habs have yet to release an official statement regarding Brisebois’ sudden departure, just a week after the team held their annual player development camp.

Dave Stubbs of the Montreal Gazette mentions that Brisebois would like to spend more time with his young family which is the reasoning for his resignation.

Brisebois has been the Habs player development coach since early June of 2012.
