Slight chance the Canadiens sign Brady Vail

According to a source familiar with the situation the Montreal Canadiens will most likely not be signing prospect Brady Vail to a entry-level contract. Vail, 20, played in 5 games this season with the Hamilton Bulldogs in where he posted 2 penalty minutes and was a +1 after finishing his junior season with the Windsor Spitfires. Vail compiled 83 points (32 goals, 51 assists), 39 penalty minutes and was a +29 in what was a career year for the young center.

The Habs have until June 1st to come to agreement with their 4th round draft pick from 2012 before his rights become relinquished. Vail could either go back to the OHL and play as a overager or jump back in to this years draft as a 20-year-old.
