Habs sign Connor Crisp & Daniel Carr to entry-level contracts

The Montreal Canadiens announced today that they have signed forwards Connor Crisp to a 3 year entry-level deal and Daniel Carr to 2 year entry-level deal.

Crisp, 20, was the Canadiens 3rd round draft pick (71st overall) in the 2013 entry draft and finished this season with the Hamilton Bulldogs. Crisp recorded 97 points (55 goals, 42 assists) and racked up 308 penalty minutes in 184 games during his junior career.

NCAA free agent Daniel Carr, 22, recorded 157 points (78 goals, 79 assists) in 160 games with ECAC’s Union College Dutchmen during his four years playing at the college level.

Both prospects will most likely start the year in the AHL with the Hamilton Bulldogs unless they really impress during training camp.
