Habs place Davis Drewiske on Waivers, Cleared assigned to Hamilton

The Montreal Canadiens have placed defenseman Davis Drewiske on waivers today with intentions of sending him to the Hamilton Bulldogs of  the AHL.

Drewiske has yet to play a game this season with the Canadiens due to a shoulder injury that he has been recovering from since the beginning of training camp.

Drewiske has played in a grand total of 9 games with the Habs and has recorded 1 goal and 2 assists during that short span. Drewiske was acquired from Los Angeles in last season’s trade deadline in exchange for a 5th round draft pick.

Drewiske has cleared waivers today and will report to Hamilton.
